Kym spent thirty years in Local Government and was responsible for raising capital and acting as Project Manager to build a large communication network in rural South Australia in 2001. This was followed in 2004 with one of the first wide area broadband networks in rural Australia. The project proved to be a challenge given the network covered nine thousand square kilometres and involved building fourteen new towers.
In 2006 Kym moved to Agile Communications with the task of building rural and regional networks and in 2008 was involved in building one of the first wide area WiMAX networks in Australia.
Today as Operations and Infrastructure Manager for Agile Communications his role is to manage new construction as well as maintenance for fibre optic, microwave and WiMAX networks.
